Willisburg church of christ
Who Are We
We are a group of Christians, who are committed to preaching God’s Word, loving God’s people, and glorifying God in all we say and do. Our desire is to grow and become more like Christ every day and in every way. (Romans 1:16) We have the scriptures as our only guide and authority, worshipping according to the pattern set forth in the New Testament, in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

What To Expect
On Sunday morning, bible classes for young kids and teens/young adults take place, while the adult bible study occurs in the auditorium. Then, at 11am everyone assembles back together for the worship service. Worship consists of the five acts commanded and shown by example in the New Testament. Preaching of the Word (Acts 20:7), singing (Ephesians 5:19), prayers (James 5:13-18), observance of the Lord’s Supper on Sunday (Mark 4:22-25), and a collection from the members (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).
Sunday evening, we simply assemble to worship God in songs, prayers, preaching, and offering the Lord’s Supper and collection (to those not able/not in attendance Sunday morning).
Wednesday evening, everyone assembles in the auditorium to sing, pray, and participate in a bible class lead by one of the men of the congregation.
We will answer any questions you may have about anything we do or say at services.
