Psalm 8:3-4
Power Of God’s Hand
Have you paid attention to the weather this past week? It has been full or God’s power. Between storms, rain, thunder, lightening, tornadoes, and the aurora borealis. If this isn’t enough to get your attention and see God’s handiwork, then we aren’t paying attention enough! God’s works are mighty and He works in mysterious ways. We don’t fully understand how or why, but things do happen to catch our attention. I pray this week’s weather has done just that and I pray this week’s weather has brought more glory to God. It’s only Him that is able to present such amazing works. He deserves the glory we give, especially with everything He does for us. Let us not stop sharing the handiwork of God’s hand. The same God that is able to create these thunderstorms and strikes of lightening, is the same God that created you. It’s also the same God that will judge you in the last day. Are you ready for that? This is why we must be sharing His Word! We are responsible to spread the good news. All you saw on social media this weekend was the Northern Lights and many times I saw glory to God for such, but let us be sharing more than just the Lights for His glory. Let’s share what He has done for us. Let’s share the blessings we have received. Let’s share how He answered our prayers. If you look at social media, many companies share testimonies and photos of how their products have worked. What if we took that thought and applied it to the Word? It may not immediately product believers, but I promise the more we get people sharing their testimonies of conversion, the more people will hear His Word, and the more hearts we can touch. Also, on social media, the more you share and interact, the more people see your posts. Therefore, if we are willing to sharing our story, and how God is caring for us, and how He is answering our prayers, the more people will become interested in your story and want to know more. I’m not saying we need to share every single detail or be all over social media, but we can use such technology for God’s glory! We can also apply this same concept to just our daily conversations with others. The more you get comfortable talking to people about God and your story, the more you will just naturally talk about it and the more you will see the opportunity to talk about it appears. God knows your motives and if He sees you trying to share His Word, I promise the doors will be opened to do just that. So, what will you share with the world? What part of your story will you tell? What answered prayer still amazes you? What has God done for you? What blessings can you say you saw God’s hand in? What event or circumstance in your life have you seen God working through? Share those! I promise the people who are seeking the truth will be pricked by your story and see God too. It may be the reason someone is draw to the Lord. Let us be that reason!
