Choices

In James 4:13-17, God’s word states, “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

We may not consciously say. “I’m going to do evil today,” or even “I’m going to do good today,” but if we don’t allow God to guard and guide our hearts and choices, we may default to what’s easy or comfortable (and not necessarily what’s right). Joshua said to choose this day whom you will serve in Joshua 24:15.

Two things to consider:

  1. It’s a daily choice.
  2. There is wrong and right choices that can be made.

Choose God, follow His will, and you will NEVER go wrong.
